How learning and attention shape human cognition and behavior.
I’m a postdoctoral researcher in Psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where I work in the Cognition, Attention & Learning Lab (CALL) on how (implicit) learning shapes the way we attend and decide.
Beyond that, I have a soft spot for metascience, computational modelling and psychometrics applied to experimental tasks. More broadly, I’m drawn to anything that helps ensure the tasks we use in the lab are valid, with an emphasis on assessing this cumulatively and transparently.

My journey in science
The less boring CV section
A map of some of the things I’ve done.
Ever since starting my psychology degree in 2016, I have been fascinated by the idea of studying cognition and behaviour in a laboratory setting. When I realised that this was actually possible, I set myself a clear goal: to pursue a career in research.
After completing my undergraduate degree, I moved to Granada for a Master’s in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience, and then began my PhD at the same institution, under the supervision of Profs Juan Lupiáñez and Miguel Vadillo. My research focused on one of my main interests: how our experience of the world shapes cognition. Along the way, I met wonderful people and visited wonderful places, and now, as an early-career researcher, I look back and think, “Wow.” Science has brought me much more than just stress and uncertainty; it has also given me the chance to travel and experience things I never expected.
So instead of just dropping a boring “CV” section here (you can see my boring cv, if you must), I’d rather show you how far science has taken me. I expect to update this map frequently.
